The 2005 Programme promoted the social inclusion and independence of older people in the arts, entertainment and leisure services. These events were family oriented and we encouraged informal carers of older people to attend as well as relatives and friends able to bring older persons to the events. Community groups and care homes across the region also got involved and have some wonderful memories.
The programme for 2009 will continue with the theme of social inclusion and are pleased to announce that many of the events for older people in Luton are FREE! This year's calendar of events builds on previous year's successes and we hope you'll be able to join us in celebrating International Older Person's Day.
