Last year's events promoted the social inclusion and independence of older people in the arts, entertainment and leisure services. These events were family oriented and we encouraged informal carers of older people to attend as well as relatives and friends able to bring older persons to the events. Community groups and care homes across the region also got involved and have some wonderful memories.
This year we continue with the theme of social inclusion and are pleased to announce that many of the events for older people in Luton are FREE! This year's calendar of events builds on last year's successes and we hope you'll be able to join us in celebrating International Older Person's Day.

As her passion increases, all her senses are awakened, and her monochrome existence is transformed into the "colour of poppies".
"A beautifully sculpted performance from Faith Brook - full of subtle mood changes, often rueful, mostly gentle, but firmly and movingly asserting the right to happiness" - Sunday Telegraph.
