The Luton Senior Citizens' Art and Recreational Forum are compiling a list of organisations that work with older people across Luton, Bedfordshire and the UK. The Forum's primary role is to co-ordinate activities for older people to co-incide with International Older Persons' Week; find out more about International Older Persons' Week.

Age Concern

Age Concern is the UK's largest organisation working with and for older people. Their website has plenty of advice and information about Age Concern

The Happy Wanderers

The Happy Wanderers are a Luton based variety group that has been entertaining audiences since 1993 with their own special blend of music and comedy. Their music is rooted in the era when music had melody and words had meaning.

Wardown Friendship Club

A social club for the over 55's in Luton that meets on Friday afternoons on the first floor of Wardown Swimming and Leisure Centre from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Admission £0.50
Enjoy quizzes, raffles, bingo with tea and biscuits! Raffle tickets and bingo cards £0.05 each. Outings arranged in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
